Review:

The second gig of Class Action was definitly a successful one, for the three guys themselves as well as for the crowd, they obviously enjoyed them! If you havent so far, you should get your hands on a copy of their CD, Komplizen EP.

The second show this night was by Mental Disorda. These experienced guys, for such a long time in the music business, showed all their routine on stage, well done!

Hideouz Newcome did a really strong and powerful show, representing old classical goodies as well as a bunch of new slammin’ tracks, genius. They are currently working on their new, 7 track strong EP. I had the favour to catch a listen to some of them…don’t miss em!

The first foreign act on the second part of the Mass Hysteria jams was Project Mayhem from scotland. Boomstick and Versatile did really well on the mic and on the turntables. watch out for the new and upcoming vinyl of these fabolous musicians (on Eastborns Dropzone Records).

Who missed Dead Residents missed one of the best live shows of a hip hop act in the past years in Hamburg. Together with the dj-team Optimas Prime on the decks the two mc’s performed awesome tracks like ‘Slang Shotgun’ and ‘VerbalAssassin’ with drag along energy and fun, checked out for releases of both, Dead Residents and Optimas Prime, well worth it. check also out for other release from Dial Up Records (run by Stagga of Optimas Prime).

Last but deffo not least act was Eastborn, who presented, alongside older stuff (taken from the great ‘Word Perfect’ LP on his own label Dropzone Records) also new and so far unheard tracks, a scottish talent with a great vocal delivery.
